The client was an established commercial cleaning organisation. They had understodd from many of their clients that there was a need to better manage the waste produced in commercial properties.

These properties get rated on the amount of waste produced and as such need to precisely measure this waste. But also recognise the greater need for better waste management.

At the time of writing, this project is in the final stages of on site trials.

The expected result is that commerical property owners will be able to accurately report, to the nearest kilogram, the amount of waste and recycling produced at each collection points. This allows them to validate and reconcile their removal contractor invoices and guide the management actions to reduce waste produection and increase diversion to recycling.
