AISkyPlan

The Client

AISkyPlan was a very early stage startup that recognized there was gap in the aircraft maintenance planning space.

Most systems used for aircraft maintenance are old technology and tend to move very slowly due to regulations. High volume maintenance scheduling is still done very much manualy.

AISkyPlan sought to offer an AI powered tool that could work with existing maintenance applications to automate the maintenance planning and provide a user-friendly user interface, something that was dearly lacking.

The Project

The development project was geared very much as a startup project. Requirements were loose and changing, value had to be delivered frequently and the minimum viable product had to be produced in less than 2 months.

We use our business application platform to kickstart and accelerate the development. The auto-scheduling AI had to be adapted to the specific needs of the aviation industry, taking into account not only employee rosters, but flight times, tools, inventory supply chains, etc.

We also built a language model that can run automation tasks on the platform, not just respond with training knowledge.

The Result

A minimum viable product was delivered in one and half month and subsequently adapted to the first customer feedbacks.

The startup is now on its way selling their new service, bringing AI to the aviation industry.
